In accordance with the mission of DYB, Inc., this organization’s purpose is to:Promote the development of strong character, a right attitude, a sense of responsibility, and citizenship in youngsters, using the game of baseball as a vehicle.  It is the purpose of DYB and this organization to achieve this goal through fair play, good sportsmanship, and congenial fellowship, with adult leaders providing the example. 

This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
